Welcome to Beaconsfield Theatre Group!
Beaconsfield Theatre Group
has been entertaining audiences in the area for more than 70 years with quality productions from Oscar Wilde to Alan Ayckbourn, Arthur Miller to Victoria Wood and many, many more. Look at our Previous Productions page to see the range of shows we have presented.
Closure
We have successfully distributed all of our tangible assets (costumes galore, lighting & sound equipment, furniture, props & scenery) which were stored in Lillyfee Barn. The local amdram groups that benefited were Young Theatre, BMOS, Chiltern Shakespeare, Fourways, St Peter Players and Rickmansworth Players.
Members (past and present) hope to celebrate our 75 years at a private “Final Curtain” event in the new year.
EGM 2023
At the EGM on 10th August 2023, a vote was held on the proposal to close BTG. The proposal was carried by a substantial majority. This was a very sad moment for all of us, and there was no doubting the strength of feeling among members as we made this difficult decision.
