by Dale Wasserman from the novel by Ken Kesey

performed by BTG November 1997

A Play

The story takes place in a mental institution, on a ward run by the iron-handed Nurse Ratched. A free-spirited new patient, a convict who may or may not be insane, scams his way into the hospital, where he challenges the nurse's authority and inspires her patients to stand up for themselves.
