A Bittersweet comedy
Dennis is a DIY fanatic, incapable of fixing anything, least of all his disastrously fractured marriage. A combination of his relentless jolliness and ghastly mother are driving his wife literally round the bend. Set on four different birthdays in the chaotic garage where Dennis spends all his time tinkering around, this is a painfully funny portrait of British suburban life.
