It is summer 1925 and you are invited to an hilarious stay at the elegant Cookham home of the hopelessly theatrical Bliss family - Judith, a retired actress, David, a novelist, and their two...
Jacob Mynett-Smith
As Simon Bliss This is Jacob’s first show with BTG and up until now he has only be involved with school productions (both acting and directing). Jacob went to the USA at Christmas 2018 and took part...
Sue Dorman
As Clara.
Sue has been a member of BTG for about 25 years and has acted, directed and operated many backstage roles over that time.
Dawn Leslie
As Jackie Coryton.
Dawn is enjoying playing the part of this dim-witted but good-hearted flapper, having previously portrayed the characters of Maudie and Ann Welch in two Rattigan works — Flare Path and The Deep Blue Sea — as well as Clarice in A Servant of Two Masters.
Ben Sansum
As Richard Greatham. Ben can’t stay away from the stage. Last time he performed, he had to carry Sir Ian McKellen off on a stretcher eight times a week in Chichester!
Chris Wood
As Sandy Tyrell.
This is Chris’s first production with BTG and in fact the first time he has taken to the stage since his student days.
Lucy Hourston
playing Sorel Bliss. This is Lucy’s first play with BTG and she is very excited to take on the role of Sorel Bliss. She loves playing this part since Sorel is so outgoing and open, whereas Lucy can be quite shy.
Sharon Pidgeon
Judith Bliss This is the second time that Sharon has appeared in Hay Fever having initially played Myra Arundel some 25 years ago. She is now relishing the challenge of taking on the eccentric...
John Sharp
As David Bliss.
Although John has been closely connected with BTG for over twenty years this is his first time on stage with them. He is amazed and amused to be the philandering husband and father of the drama-filled Bliss family and hopes this is not type-casting as his last role with Amersham Playgoers was as the exotic, but aged, seducer in Barefoot in the Park.
